Meet Catherine Parenteau

Catherine Parenteau is currently Canada's highest ranked pickleball player.

Catherine grew up in the Montreal area, and convinced her parents to start playing tennis at the age of 4.

She fell in love with it and continued playing right through university, where had had a scholarship for 1 year at the University of Arkansas, followed by 3 years at Michigan State University.

It was at Michigan State where her tennis coach was Simone Jardim.

While playing at Michigan State, Coach Simone Jardim convinced Catherine to come out and give pickleball a try.
As Catherine says, she “fell in love with pickleball right away.”

Coach Simone Jardim has gone on to be the most successful pickleball player in history, and Catherine is following in her footsteps, and has partered with Jardim frequently in doubles.

Parenteau started playing pickleball in October 2016.

She completed in the US Open Pickleball Tournament in the spring of 2017 and is now a 3 time US Open Champion and has  won 16 PPA tour Championships.  She continues to dominate both in singles, doubles, and mixed doubles.

Catherine has moved to Naples, Florida full time, and is  establishing the Catherine Parenteau Pickleball Academy.
